Deputised Shift Supervisor - (Aug 2024 – Present)

Accountable role regarding the decision-making and overseeing of the manufacture of APIs, responsibilities are:

· Overseeing the daily operation of production facilities, ensuring all activities align with the highest H&S and cGMP standards while making critical decisions to maintain smooth and efficient workflows.

· Advanced troubleshooting of pharmaceutical equipment and plant services such as reactor vessels, filters, ancillary equipment, vacuum pumps, skids, temperature control units and analytical equipment.

· Conveying the pilot plant’s requirements to the shift team, ensuring efficient task delegation.

· Ensuring staff have the appropriate training, equipment, and resources to execute their job efficiently.

· Managing contractors, quality assurance teams, and clients during on-site visits and audits.

· Communicating with senior PR management and QC about the status of processes and teams.

Pharmaceutical Operator Specialist (Jul 2022 – Present)

Specialised role in advancing the production of APIs across multiple projects, responsibilities included:

· Conducting highly skilled operations on plant reactors such as distillations and exothermic charges.

· Maintaining and troubleshooting instruments at different stages of production.

· Reviewing documentation to ensure corrections are identified and rectified in a timely manner.

· Reporting issues to the pilot plant services team by raising work orders when required.

· Collaborating to create and revise IOPs, SOPs, and Production Forms in adherence to cGMP.

· Performing sample preparation and analysis of in-process checks by NMR, HPLC and KF.

· Delivering comprehensive reports to line management about the status of processes.

· Assisting PR management with tasks on SAP S/4HANA such as materials/consumables depletions.

· Conducting operations such as sampling and weigh outs of raw materials and intermediates.

· Performing filtrations and purification of products using a range of pharmaceutical equipment.

· Cleaning reactor vessels and ancillary equipment by following established protocols. 

· Completing documentation promptly and accurately, including Logbooks, BPGs and RCGs.

· Sampling the stack exhaust and local air for environmental and H&S monitoring.
